ecryptfs-utils-dbg software package provides ecryptfs cryptographic filesystem (utilities; debug), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ecryptfs-utils-dbg
ecryptfs-utils-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ecryptfs-utils-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ecryptfs-utils-dbg *
You will get with ecryptfs-utils-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
